How to Message a Match

This article explains how to send a message to a match on The League and what happens if neither person messages within 14 days.

Steps to Message a Match

  1. Open the Matches tab (chat bubble with a heart). 
  2. Tap the Active sub-tab. 
  3. Select the Match you want to message. 
  4. Type and send your first message.


Both people can message first. If the chat does not go well, you can expire the match by tapping the 3-dot icon in the upper-right-hand corner of the chat. Additionally, if no one in the Match messages for 14 days, the match will automatically expire. After a message is sent, the 14-day counter will start over.
